All kinds of people make Ambassador Baptist Church a community in the body of Christ. And all kinds of people are in different stages of life and different places in their faith walk. That’s why Ambassador offers so many ministry opportunities. You can study, serve, teach, lead, and develop life-changing relationships.
No matter what the ministry area, there are opportunities to contribute, communicate, and connect with people who care about you. We encourage all our members to participate in these smaller groups, for these ministries are the underpinning of Ambassador’s vision to draw people more deeply into relationship with God and each other in the body of Christ.
To achieve an ever-deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, spiritual growth is vital in our Christian walk. Ambassador offers many ways to study and mature and offers a depth of teaching talent among both its pastors and teachers.
Foothills Seedline is the ministry arm of Ambassador Baptist Church that works to provide John & Romans scripture portions to missionaries in various parts of the world. We work with ministries such as Bearing Precious Seed in Milford, Ohio and Missionary Wayne Holder with First Bible. We take bundled signatures of the scriptures and do the finish work of collating, stapling, trimming and boxing the scriptures getting them ready to ship to the missionary.
We have worked on scripture portions in the following languages: Amheric, Bulgarian, Burmese, Cebuano, Czechoslovakian, English, French Creol, French, Hindi, Hungarian, Khmer, Mesquite, Paite, Paunakte, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Thai, Tumbuka.
Scriptures have been provided for missionaries in the following countries: Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Hungary, India, Jamaica, Ireland, Myanmar (Burma), Mexico, Nicaragua, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Tanzania, United States and the Olympics.
Specialized John & Romans are available to individual Church evangelism projects.
Located on the campus of Ambassador Baptist Church is Heritage Christian School. Heritage is celebrating its twenty-first year of operation offering a quality and affordable education within a Biblical Worldview.
Our mission is inherent in our name. We as Christians have a heritage to maintain. The Bible reminds us that children are an heritage of the Lord. We have a Biblical mandate to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We strive to provide a high quality education within a Biblical worldview. Our Christian faith is under attack from every side. In the secular environment evolutionary science seeks to remove any serious discussion of God from the educational arena, while history is being politicized and reinterpreted. With the banishment of Bible reading, prayer and God from the secular classroom there remains no viable ability to espouse and teach a moral framework for life. Values of right and wrong become subjective and left for each person to decide, but not impose on others.
Consequently, young impressionable minds are left without any absolutes to guide them through life. The Bible admonishes us to “Train up a child in the way he should go.” A three-fold cord is not easily broken. We view our mission as working hand in hand with the home and church to provide an atmosphere where a child can grow academically, morally and spiritually.
